Built a windshield that wraps around the forward frame components of the fuselage. Pre-welded some mounting tabs to help hold the windshield in place. In order to make this windshield I used some cardboard to mockup what I wanted to make and then used that as a template for cutting out my plexiglass (polycarbonate).

After cutting out the windshield I then needed to bend the plexiglass to wrap around the frame – I wanted to have a one-piece design. In order to accomplish this, I also ended up building a plexiglass heated wire bender which I found designed for on guess where – yes, YouTube :).

Pictures below show all of this including the bender I created.
